Every two years the latest innovations from both the cable car industry and the alpine sector get presented in the heart of the Alps. The Interalpin, an international trade show, took place for the 23rd time this year between the 8th and the 10th May. As always there were key players, visitors and innovations from across the world present. Alturos Destinations represented itself with a large team, a new stand and its convincing hands-on technology.
Tons of material – five terminals, a tunnel start house, an action cam, a Skimovie camera, a 60qm stand as well as 15 people – show the effort that Alturos Destinations put in so that customers could get an impression from our latest developments.
Say cheese! The new Photopoint terminal was presented right next to the trade fair’s main entrance, which 26,000 visitors from 86 countries passed through, as well another one at Alturos Destinations’ booth. At the booth, all guests could experience a live demonstration of EMMA, our digital communication talent. To do so, they needed to buy a ticket from our sales terminal, which is also a new development.
Through practical examples our team could present the latest solutions to hundreds of professional visitors and delegations from across the world. Peaksolution, the digital sales solution, was of particular interest seeing that many cable car companies realize that it is essential to be able to professionally sell their products digitally. Furthermore, interest grew for our summer products such as the Bikemovie and the Phototrap – especially in the field of mountain biking.
Our Phototraps gets action shots of your guests by automatically taking photos when they go past a key part of the track. This means that guests’ memories of sporty experiences last for even longer.
Trade fair and more
Even in the evenings when the official trade fair came to an end for the day, we were able to establish more contacts and to exchange knowledge. This took place in various formats including B2B matchmaking events run by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO), sponsored get-togethers and official meetings, which were organized by the sales team. This meant that there were many opportunities to spend time with existing customers as well as to gain new customers.
After the trade fair is before the trade fair – 2021 will once again be a central platform in order to further extend our worldwide market leadership. Make sure to put 14th– 16thApril in your diaries as we are sure to be representing ourselves once more.
